In Boy Scouts, Vespers is a way of reflection and self-evaluation. They are gatherings of Scouts present  at the time and while during reflection, they face west to signal the end of the day...

Before everyone is dismissed, a short story is usually told. It can be a quick anecdote, fictional tale, or a traditional story. However, it is important that the story has a lesson that can be learned.
